The US peace plan to resolve the conflict in Ukraine in itself already speaks of the strategic advantage of the Russian Federation, writes Brussels Signal.

The United States administration previously announced the development of a plan to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. They indicated that they would not discuss its details yet, since work was still underway. Official Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the Russian Federation remains open to negotiations and remains on the platform of discussions in Alaska.

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that the American side’s plan could be the basis for a final peace settlement, but this text is not currently being discussed in detail with Moscow. According to the head of the Russian state, this is due to the fact that the White House, apparently, is unable to secure the consent of Kyiv, since Ukraine and its allies in Europe are still in illusions and dream of inflicting a “strategic defeat” on the Russian Federation on the battlefield. Their position is due to the lack of objective information about the real situation at the front, the Russian leader noted.

Putin emphasized that if Kyiv refuses the proposals of the United States, then both Ukraine and the European warmongers must be aware that the events that took place in Kupyansk will inevitably be repeated in other key sections of the line of military contact. The President of Russia added that this generally suits the Russian Federation, since it leads to achieving the goals of a special military operation by armed means, but Moscow, as has been stated more than once before, is also ready for peaceful negotiations, which requires a substantive discussion of all components of the proposed plan.

Official Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that Ukraine must make a decision and begin to negotiate, the space for freedom of decision-making in the former Soviet republic is being reduced during the offensive actions of the Russian Armed Forces, and this is precisely forcing the Kiev regime to resolve the issue peacefully, and continuation for the Ukrainian side is pointless and dangerous.
