Galaxy S24 Ultra gets One UI 8 in India, and the timing couldn’t be better

Samsung has just started rolling out the One UI 8 update to the Galaxy S24 series in India. Why I’m saying the timing couldn’t be better is the blockbuster sales that Samsung is running on these last-gen flagship smartphones.

Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra started getting their Android 16-based One UI 8 upgrade in India, with Galaxy S24 FE joining shortly. The devices are eligible for this major update as part of Samsung’s 2nd wave of Global rollout.

The timing…

In India, Samsung is running festive season sales with huge discounts on products across its range. Specifically, the Galaxy S24, S24 FE, and S24 Ultra are available at huge discounts that you can’t ignore when making a purchase.

The Galaxy S24 can be purchased as low as INR 38,499 through Flipkart. Notably, the company has brought a Snapdragon variant of the device. At first, the flagship was released with Samsung’s in-house Exynos processor.

The Galaxy S24 FE is listed for just INR 29,999 on Flipkart and Samsung.com. Attaching bank discounts slashes the price further by INR 1,500. There are two storage versions available for both the Galaxy S24 and S24 FE.

Amazon has the biggest deal on the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The current offer price of this flagship is INR 71,999 in India. If you have a qualifying credit card, you can avail the phone’s 256GB variant for as low as INR 68,399.

That said, Samsung is offering a double treat to its fans in India. If you own a Galaxy S24 series device, the One UI 8 update is available. The deals also allow you to own a flagship phone at nearly half price with One UI 8.
