Aldi Australias major alcohol announcement set to change the way you shop

Aldi shoppers can now add alcohol to their online grocery shop, with items delivered straight to their home on the same day they order.

For the first time ever, ALDI’s exclusive range of award-winning beers, wines and spirits will be available for delivery via DoorDash to NSW and Victorian shoppers aged 18 and over*.

Customers can enjoy a bottle of Freya & Jules Watervale & Clare Valley Riesling, the three-time gold-winning wine, from the comfort of their home.

The light and refreshing wine has a bright, zesty aroma of lime and a hint of citrusy spice. It pairs perfectly with oysters or seafood, and finishes clean and crisp, lingering on the taste buds.

If you prefer red, then the gold winner Truly Wildly Heathcote Shiraz may be just what you’re looking for. It has a vibrant purple-red colour and a fragrant mix of red berries and blueberries with a hint of spice.

It’s packed with wild fruit flavours like blueberries and plums, complemented by a touch of cool-climate spice and oak adding depth and structure.

Another gold medallist to look out for is the La Mule Provence Rosé 2024.

This wine offers lifted aromas of red fruits, white stone fruits, dried flowers, and salted notes, with aromas of wild strawberries and summer fruits.

Customers around the country will be able to nab their twice-weekly Special Buys hauls via DoorDash, starting with a range of beauty bargains, grilling essentials, bulk buys and tools available from Wednesday, January 21.
