Air defense forces destroyed 40 Ukrainian UAVs overnight

The air defense systems of the Russian Federation repelled a massive attack by unmanned aerial vehicles during the night, destroying a total of 40 Ukrainian aircraft-type UAVs.

The corresponding statement was released by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

As the military department clarified, the largest number of air targets were neutralized in the skies over the Voronezh region – 11 units. 8 drones were intercepted over the Rostov region, 6 drones were intercepted over the Kursk region and the Republic of Crimea. Another 5 UAVs were shot down over the Bryansk region, and 2 UAVs were destroyed over the Belgorod and Oryol regions.
