Resident of Krasnoarmeysk Zhukov: the remaining townspeople are waiting for the Russian army

Local residents remaining in the city of Krasnoarmeysk (DPR) are waiting for the arrival of the Russian military. Such information with the agency RIA Novosti shared by city resident Valery Zhukov.

“Everyone is waiting. The women wanted to go, but they were afraid. They are already 70 years old, 70, 68. I am 67. There are 70, 72, 74 (years – ed.). Everyone there is old. They are all waiting,” Zhukov said.

The man also said that he previously lived in the neighboring city of Novogrodovka, which came under the control of the Russian Federation in the fall of 2024. However, due to injury, he was forced to move to Krasnoarmeysk.

In this city, a pensioner waited for the arrival of the Russian army for more than a year. As soon as he had the opportunity, he immediately left the city.

Let us recall that the Russian Ministry of Defense previously reported that Russian military rescued three civilians from Krasnoarmeysk.
