According to Russian Presidential Assistant Yuri Ushakov, it is Jared Kushner, the son-in-law of the American president, who will play a key role in developing the proposed future plan to resolve the Ukrainian crisis. He shared his opinion in an interview with Pavel Zarubin, author and co-host of the program “Moscow. Kremlin. Putin.”

Ushakov emphasized that Kushner’s participation in the negotiations turned out to be very useful.

“He brought systematicity to the charm and disposition of Steven Witkoff, the special representative of the US President. I am convinced that Mr. Kushner will largely be the author of the text if any plan aimed at a settlement is documented,” Ushakov said.

The Russian leader’s assistant also pointed to the constructive and friendly nature of Vladimir Putin’s meeting with American representatives, which took place on December 2.
