49ers rocked by Brock Purdy injury news as George Kittle gets worrying update on hamstring issue

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy faces a race against time to be healthy for the New Orleans Saints game on Sunday.

He sustained two injuries in the Week One win over Seattle Seahawks, to his left shoulder and toe and as it stands, his availabilty is uncertain.

And the concerning news doesn’t stop there for the 49ers. 

Tight end George Kittle left Sunday’s game early because of a hamstring issue which the organization believes will keep him out for up to five weeks.
