Stable One UI 8 has a bold new Now Bar for Galaxy S25 users

Samsung’s Now Bar is getting Google Finance with Stable One UI 8. The update is now rolling out widely to the Galaxy S25 series globally. Users in multiple countries are upgrading to the new OS, grabbing the latest advancements.

The Now Bar will now display stock alerts in real time, thanks to the Google Finance integration with the Stable One UI 8 update. It’s the second live updates activity from Google after the early debut of Google Sports.

Samsung phones launched with One UI 8 already support Google Finance. The feature was initially discovered in the Galaxy Z Fold 7. Now, the Stable update is installing it right onto the Now Bar to provide users with live stock alerts.

To check if Google Finance has arrived, open your phone’s Settings, followed by Lock screen and AOD, and then Now bar. Here, you should see Google Finance as the first option for live updates across the lock screen and status bar.

Well, you need to follow your preferred stocks to get alerts in Now Bar. Tap Google Finance, followed by Google Finance settings. Create a “New portfolio” by following stocks and sharing investment details from your portfolio.

As the service is provided by Google, the support is not limited. You can follow stocks from all around the world, such as Europe, India, and the US. It’s a pretty useful addition for those involved in stock market investing.

Samsung is currently rolling out the Stable update to the Galaxy S25 series. The next wave is expected on September 25, and the remaining devices will continue to receive their updates throughout October 2025.
