Scientists: The moon is oxidized by the “wind” of the earth
Both the moon and the Earth are exposed to the normal circumstances of the effect of solar wind, which are flowers from the charged particles coming from the sun. However, the Earth blocks this flow every month for about five days, and during this period the moon receives “earth winds”, that is, hydrogen ions, oxygen, nitrogen and other elements that were previously part of the Earth’s atmosphere. These particles penetrate the surface layer of lunar soil, absolutely impossible chemical reactions to the moon without these supplies.
Data provided by the Chinese Chandraian-1 mission showed the presence of hematite on the two poles of the moon, although its composition requires the presence of water and oxygen, which are almost non-existent on the moon. New laboratory experiences confirmed that ground oxygen is able to form rust on lunar minerals, while hydrogen in this process works to return the minerals to their original state.
“This discovery highlights an accurate relationship that is almost connected between our planet and the moon, and leaves the signs of space interactions on the moon,” said Zellian Jin, the world of planets at the University of Macau for Science and Technology. He adds that the moon does not seem just a crime without life, but an active participant in chemical reactions with the Earth, and works as a “guard” of the history of planetary links in space.
