Here’s when Samsung will expand Stable One UI 8 to the US and Europe

Stable One UI 8 is available in South Korea, and Samsung plans to expand this update to America and Europe. The latest software is initially rolling out to the Galaxy S25 series, with older models to be upgraded throughout October.

In its Korean press release, Samsung outlined the expansion plans for the major software update. The company says the Stable One UI 8 update will be expanded to North America, Europe, etc., after sequential rollout in South Korea.

Samsung skipped confirming the release/expansion date for NA and EU yet again, leaving users to keep guessing. The update is swiftly hitting Korean Galaxy S25 models, including S25 Edge, but a global release would take time.

Meanwhile, the Korean tech giant confirmed that the North America and Europe regions are a priority for the One UI 8 update. Kicking off the update’s release is just a matter of time, and we are expecting the expansion this week.

Earlier, a leaked roadmap revealed that the One UI 8 will be available for the Galaxy S25 series starting September 18. It seems Samsung kicked off the One UI 8 rollout in view of Apple’s iOS 26 update on the same day.

A broader availability is expected from September 18, with countries in America, Europe, and the Middle East expected to be eligible for an upgrade. Well, it’s just for the S25 series, as older models would be roughly a week late.

As mentioned in the leaked roadmap from Turkey, the Galaxy S24 series, S25 Edge, and 2024 foldables should start getting the One UI 8 starting September 25 – a gap of one week from the commencement of initial rollout.
