If you’ve endured miscommunications, frustrating arguments and bizarre run-ins from the past this month – you can blame the stars.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, one astrology expert revealed how a ‘Mercury retrograde’ has been plaguing us for weeks, but is finally now over.

And while most are out of the woods of missed deadlines and moments of doubt, some are set to thrive even further.

Joanne Jones from Trusted Psychics explained how the cosmic energy is, at last, shifting – and there will be plenty of rewards to reap for some of the zodiac in September.

Mercury is believed to be the planet of communication and transportation; however, during a Retrograde, because of the different orbital speeds of the planets, from Earth it seems as if it is going backwards.

Scientifically, this doesn’t mean much, but has in spiritual circles implied a period of confusion and disarray.

With the brunt of it over, and Mercury back to ‘going direct’, the signs can all expect a ‘a breath of fresh air for the mind and heart,’ Joanne shared.

However, more is on the cards for specific signs.

‘It’s the perfect moment to untangle confusion, take decisive steps, and reconnect with people or projects that have stalled,’ she explained.

With the fog lifting, pathways for growth, clarity, and meaningful progress are finally within reach.’

VIRGO (August 23 – September 22)

With Mercury (your ruling planet) back on track, Virgos feel sharper, more organised, and in control, Joanne said.

She explained: ‘Virgos have a natural eye for detail, and now Mercury direct is amplifying that.

‘It’s the perfect moment to revisit stalled projects, clarify intentions, and create structure in both work and personal life.’

The astrologer added that Virgos will experience easing of stress levels and more clarity – making it an ideal time to implement self-care routines and strategic planning.

Professionally and personally, she also revealed, Virgos can confidently map out their next steps, set achievable goals, and communicate effectively with colleagues, friends, and partners.

GEMINI (May 21 – June 20)

Also ruled by Mercury – Geminis will enjoy some ‘much needed mental clarity’.

‘Any confusion or misunderstandings from the retrograde period are now dissipating,’ Joanne said.

‘Gemini energy thrives on communication, and with Mercury moving direct, conversations flow smoothly, ideas spark, and social connections feel effortless.’

In matters of the heart, a ‘flirty, playful energy will return, making this a great time to reconnect with friends or a romantic interest’.

And when it comes to work and career, this sign should make waves in tackling creative projects which fuel both professional and personal growth.

CAPRICORN (December 22 – January 19)

Practical and strategic Capricorns will also be benefitting, Joanne explained.
