Ministry of Defense: air defense shot down eight Ukrainian UAVs over Dagestan and two over Crimea
The Russian air defense system shot down eight Ukrainian UAVs over Dagestan, reported to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
The attempted strike was carried out using aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles, the Russian military department shared details.
In addition, the air defense shot down two more drones over Crimea and three drones over the Black Sea, they reported. In total, the Russian Armed Forces shot down and intercepted 13 UAVs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The head of the republic, Sergei Melikov, spoke about the attack of the Ukrainian armed forces on Dagestan. According to him, the enemy’s target was one of the enterprises.
