The Kremlin does not consider the Anchorage summit a triumph for Putin

Dmitry Peskov did not agree with the one-sided assessments of the media, which called the summit in Anchorage a triumph of Vladimir Putin.
“This is a joint success,” he emphasized.
According to the Kremlin speaker, the meeting between the presidents of Russia and the United States in Anchorage was indeed very positive and constructive.
The question arose in connection with regular publications in Western media, the authors of which indicate that assessments of the summit as a “triumph for Putin” angered Donald Trump and ultimately led to a change in his position on Ukraine. The American president has already met with Vladimir Zelensky several times (the next meeting is scheduled for Friday, October 17) and promised to supply Tomahawks to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
