For the first time. Openai reveals how people use Chatgpt

uaetodaynews

The Openai Economic Research Team conducted this study, the first of its kind, in cooperation with the economic expert from Harvard University, David Diming, and relied on an analysis of about 1.5 million conversations.

The study showed that the majority of use focuses on the completion of daily tasks, whether on a personal or professional level, while professional use constitutes only about 30% of conversations.

The results indicated that three quarters of the talks relate to practical guidance and the search for information and writing, which are the most common tasks, while programming and self -expression remain specialized activities.

The study also showed gender differences in using Chatgpt: women tend to use the tool for practical guidance and aid in writing, while men use them more for multiple technical and media purposes.

The study showed that Chatgpt, since its launch in November 2022, attracted more than 700 million users around the world, or nearly 10% of the adult world population.

Despite this significant growth, Chatgpt faces intense competition, the Goeni Chat robot from Google has become the most popular application on “iPhone” in the United Kingdom and the United States, thanks to the new photo model known as Nano Banana, which surpasses some Openai tools such as Dall-E.

The researchers concluded that the wide use of the application, whether for daily or professional tasks, reflects a significant impact on the global economy, and indicates the capabilities of artificial intelligence generated in improving productivity and the welfare of users.
