Media reports reported on Tuesday that a private plane owned by the 40-year-old Portuguese star left Saudi Arabia on Monday evening, heading to the Spanish capital, Madrid, in a move that sparked a wave of speculation about the player’s intention to leave the Kingdom with his family, especially in light of the security and military escalation taking place in the Middle East.

These developments come at a time when security concerns are escalating, following news of the targeting of the US embassy in Riyadh by Iranian drones, which added more ambiguity to the scene and intensified questions about Ronaldo’s position and his upcoming moves, especially with the fans anticipating his participation with his team Al-Nasr in the match scheduled for the weekend.

But reliable Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano quickly put an end to these speculations, categorically denying Ronaldo’s departure from Saudi Arabia.

Romano wrote on his account on the “X” platform:
“Ronaldo did not leave Saudi Arabia with his family for Madrid. This news is fake, and the player was present today at Al-Nasr training headquarters.”

He added: “This is fake news, as Cristiano is currently undergoing treatment at Al-Nasr training field after suffering injuries in the last match.”

For its part, the Saudi Al-Riyadiya newspaper reported that Ronaldo will meet with the technical and medical staff of Al-Nasr Club on Tuesday evening, after breakfast, to discuss whether or not he is ready to participate in the team’s match against NEOM scheduled for next Saturday.

It is noteworthy that the Portuguese star suffered a muscle injury in the last match against Al-Fayhaa, which requires a careful medical evaluation before making the final decision regarding his participation.
