The phone now comes with a 6.59-inch flat OLED screen with a resolution of 1,260 pixels, instead of the 6.77-inch curved screen in the previous generation. The screen has also become brighter, with a maximum brightness of 5,000 nits. The screen remains 10bit with a refresh rate of 120Hz, as before.
Vivo V70 phone officially announced with a 6500 mAh battery
One of the most notable improvements is the adoption of an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor instead of the old optical sensor, which provides higher speed, greater accuracy, and a better level of security.
The phone has high durability that matches or exceeds the V60. It has ratings of IP68 and IP69 for resistance to dust, water, and strong water jets, and was subjected to drop tests from a height of 1.8 meters. The screen is protected by a Schott Xensation Core layer. Vivo also replaced the old plastic body with a frame made of highly durable 6 Series aluminum alloy, which has undergone several stages of polishing to obtain the final appearance.
The V70 relies on Vivo’s own semi-solid battery technology, with a capacity of 6,500 mAh as in the previous generation, which is enough to play PUBG for 11 hours or record 4K video for 5 hours. It can also work in extreme temperatures; Navigation can be operated for 10 hours at 40°C, or 8 hours at -20°C. The phone supports 90-watt fast wired charging via FlashCharge technology.
The phone includes a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS optical stabilization based on a 1/1.56-inch Sony LYT700V sensor, along with a 50-megapixel telephoto camera and a 1/1.95-inch sensor, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The phone supports 4K video recording at a rate of 60 frames per second, which is an improvement over 4K at a rate of 30 frames in the previous generation.
The phone is available in Authentic Black (the lightest and thinnest version), Canary Yellow, Alpine Gray, and Sandalwood Brown. It runs Android 16 with an interface OriginOS 6with the promise of 6 years of system updates and security updates, compared to just four years of system updates on the V60.
There is no change in the processor, as the phone works with the same Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor used in the previous generation. It comes with 8 or 12 GB RAM and a storage capacity of 256 or 512 GB. Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB-C 2.0 port.
The vivo V70 is scheduled to be launched soon in Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, with prices to be announced later. So be sure to follow Vivo phones Constantly on your phone website.
