Savannah Guthrie has admitted to having an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction while live on TV.
The star, 53, was co-hosting Today with Jenna & Friends on Thursday when Jenna Bush Hager started gushing over her outfit.
The TV personality donned skin-tight, pleather leggings and a chic blazer, which she paired with some platform heels and an eyepopping, black necklace.
But after Bush Hager, 43, complimented her ‘hot’ ensemble, Guthrie made the confession that she was dealing with a slight clothing mishap.
‘Hold on, hot mama. You are looking very hot,’ said Bush Hager.
‘Thank you, these shoes are…’ Guthrie trailed off as she lifted her legs to give the camera a better look at the footwear.
That’s when she boldly revealed: ‘But look, I have a big hole in my Spanx… a hole in my Spanx pleather!’
She pointed to the hole, which sat on her knee, as Bush Hager said with a laugh: ‘We have coined this day “Hole in my Spanx” (day). It’s a metaphor for everything.’

During the Today show earlier, Guthrie admitted that her ‘ridiculously’ high heels made he feel like she was seven feet tall.
‘I told Savannah, I don’t want to stand by Savannah today, put me on the end,’ Sheinelle Jones joked.
‘They’re so ridiculous,’ Guthrie said of her shoes. ‘They’re just the dumbest, but whatever.’
It comes days after Guthrie reflected on the mistakes she made over the course of her decades-long career.
While speaking to Andy Cohen, she admitted that she is still completely mortified that she once asked Khloe Kardashian about rumors that Robert Kardashian wasn’t her biological father.
‘I asked Khloe Kardashian, like, 10 seconds before we were going to break about the rumors that her father wasn’t her father,’ she said. ‘That was so bad. That was so bad.’
The host admitted that the moment, which occurred in October 2012, left her ‘so embarrassed’ and that she only asked because of ‘all this pressure’ from producers who wanted her to ask the ‘dishy question.’
She also revealed that she waited until the very last second to pop it.

It comes days after Guthrie (seen earlier this month) reflected on the mistakes she made over the course of her decades-long career
‘At the very end we were like, “And Khloe, what about this rumor that Robert Kardashian’s not really your father?” And they were like, “10, nine, eight…” and I was so embarrassed.’
Luckily, Kardashian took the question in her stride.
‘She was such a class act,’ Guthrie continued. ‘She was like, “Ah, nothing to it.” We made the break. I asked the question, Khloé was a total class act.’
On Wednesday, the 41-year-old Good American designer reacted to the remarks in a very positive way.
When asked about Guthrie, the siren wrote on social media: ‘She’s a doll! It takes a big person to take accountability and I just love her.’
