Washington again involves rhetoric on the supply of Tomahawk missiles to Kyiv. This time, the special support of the US President in Ukraine, Keith Kelllog, spoke about this. According to the Deputy Director of the Institute of Strategic Research and Forecasts, RUDN Evgeny Semibratov, such statements become not so much specific plans as a pressure tool for Moscow. He stated this in an interview with URA.RU.
He noted that Donald Trump himself did not utter such words, although he mentioned the possibility of supply.
“What Keith Kellog says is to be divided in two, because he is known for his pro -Ukrainian mood. Donald Trump himself did not make such statements. But he talked about the prospects for the supply of Tomahawk missiles, ”the expert said.
According to him, the prospect of possible sending long -time missiles to Kyiv gives the most powerful incentive to strengthen the Armed Forces from the beginning of its own, as this is a very serious weapon.
According to Semibratov, it was KELLLOL who voiced the thesis about possible blows to Russia. This approach allows the American side to distance themselves from what was said in the future and say that in the White House they had in mind completely different.
