Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra shines at Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit 2025

At the Snapdragon Summit 2025, Qualcomm introduced its newest and most powerful smartphone chip yet, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. But it wasn’t just the chip that caught everyone’s attention. Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra also played a big role at the event.

Qualcomm confirmed that Samsung will use the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 in its future high-end phones. While many phone brands use Snapdragon chips, the spotlight was clearly on Samsung. In fact, some parts of the event were filmed using the Galaxy S25 Ultra itself.

According to a report from CNETthe Galaxy S25 Ultra was seen recording parts of the live event. It was set up on a DJI Ronin 2 gimbal for smooth movement and attached to a long boom arm. An external display was also connected to the phone using its USB-C port, likely to help monitor the video.

Using smartphones to record tech events isn’t new. Companies like Apple and Samsung have done this before to show how good their phone cameras are. But this time, it’s special because Qualcomm chose the Galaxy S25 Ultra, even though many other brands use Snapdragon chips too.

This shows that Qualcomm trusts the Galaxy S25 Ultra for important tasks like livestreaming and believes in its camera quality, performance, and reliability. It also shows how strong the partnership is between Samsung and Qualcomm.
