Samsung Galaxy S26 series may launch with a new Finder you have feature. The new addition could let users select their preferred AI Agent. Initially, there would be three options, including a Samsung’s in-house agent.
The Korean tech giant is in talks with AI vendors like Perplexity. The company wants to expand the AI Agent choices on Galaxy devices. Perplexity is reported to join Gemini as a preinstalled AI service provider.
As the choices are extending, Samsung is reportedly working on a Finder AI. The Galaxy S26 series could be the first to debut this menu, which would have three options at launch, including:
- Gemini
- Perplexity
- Samsung Gauss
Galaxy S26 series with One UI 8.5 would bring expansive AI Agents. A leaked build has just exposed the integration of a new hub, which would function on interaction to practically shift the service, backed by system launcher.
Deep integration in system launcher could help users upon asking questions to get direct, conversational answers. It could be meant to provide answers to questions, specifically, “concise and friendly answers,” pay attention:
Answering a Question. You are a helpful assistant. Identifies the search result items that contain the most relevant and useful information about user query, and providing concise and friendly answers within 3 sentences to suit the user’s question intent. Answers should not be listed as search results, but should be answered directly to user input. If the search results alone are not enough, supplement the answers by referring to common sense or general usage patterns. Answer string first tells the information of the reference data, but the index value is not directly mentioned in the answer. But the context information about the location, date, title, caller of the reference data is mentioned so that the user can find the material.
Google’s AI assistant Gemini is already available on Samsung devices. Over the past two years, the two companies have worked to deeply integrate Gemini into One UI, resulting in task execution across Samsung apps.

Instead of sidelining Gemini, Samsung will expand choices. The aim is to ultimately benefit Galaxy smartphone users. Google and Samsung might consider introducing a paid suit of AI features, while retaining the existing ones.
