Producing a smart ball to reduce water waste in transmission lines

The company’s CEO, Samira Rezaei, said: Available technologies Globally and even locally, it was mostly focused on detecting leaks within water distribution networks, while previously there was no effective equipment dedicated to leak detection in water transmission lines.
Rezaei added that the “Winball Smart Ball” was specifically designed to fill this industrial gap and meet the needs of the water sector in the field of reducing waste. She explained that the device has very high accuracy, as it can detect small leaks of up to about two liters per minute, as well as determine the location of the leak in long transmission lines with an accuracy of up to 10 meters.
She indicated that the local product achieves significant savings in hard currency compared to foreign models, noting that only one Canadian company was providing similar services at a high cost, ranging between 7 and 8 thousand dollars per kilometer, depending on the conditions of the line.
Rezaei pointed out that the cost of the service using “Winpal” does not exceed about a thousand dollars per kilometer, expecting that the annual production of this product will achieve savings estimated at about 10 million dollars for the national economy.
