Meet Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burtons rarely

Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton‘s extremely private nepo daughter Nell Burton, 17, has made her modeling debut.

The teenager posed with her famous mother in a campaign for high-end jewelry brand Larkspur & Hawk’s new Palette collection, which debuted this week.

Nell wowed in a hot pink silky dress with floral embellishments as she stood next to her mom, who opted for a similar-colored gown and a chic beige jacket.

Nell left her long, brown locks in loose waves and accessorized with small gems in her hair.

She wore subtle makeup, which included a soft pink lip color and rosy cheeks.

The 17-year-old modeled the brand’s dazzling Sadie Large Riviere necklace which costs a whopping $5,300.

Bonham Carter, 59, who rocked a light pink hairdo, said in a press release that the necklace was particularly special to her because she had received it as a birthday gift her mother ‘years ago.’

‘One day it will be on to my own daughter, Nell, if she doesn’t steal it before,’ she joked. ‘My rivière will be our baton.’

‘I love jewelry and how it can out survive us humans, carrying stories over the decades, and over the centuries,’ the actress added.

‘I also basically love dressing up and make believe is what I do for a living, so when (founder) Emily (Satloff) asked if I’d be up for a commemorative photoshoot, I jumped at the chance of going full Georgian.’

The Harry Potter alum wed Burton in 2001 and they welcomed two kids together: son Billy in 2003 and daughter Nell in 2007. They split in 2014 after 13 years of marriage.

Bonham Carter has been open about the difficulties of parenting, telling AND! News back in 2010: ‘I’m not working right now. I need to be a mom. It’s much harder being a mom than an actress.

‘They’re teaching me some really interesting things, like it’s not your job to know everything.

‘You’ve got to get them to think for themselves. What a relief. I don’t have to know everything.’

In addition to her newfound modeling career, Nell has dabbled in acting, making a few cameo’s in her father’s films like Dark Shadows, Big Eyes and Alice in Wonderland over the years.

However, Bonham Carter previously said that she doesn’t want her kids to follow in her footsteps.

‘I want (my kids) to be lawyers or accountant. I don’t think any actor wants their children to follow them into the profession,’ she said to the Evening Standard in 2008.

Nell is extremely private and doesn’t use social media, however, she has accompanied her parents to red carpet events on a few rare occasions.

Back in June, she stepped out with her mom to attend the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition party in London.

She stunned in a ruffled pink dress with floral touches and a cute heart in the center of the neckline at the glitzy party.

Bonham Carter previously revealed that she and her children have a slightly abnormal living situation.

When she and Burton were together they famously lived in two houses next door to each other in London, which were also linked together.

And after their divorce, Bonham Carter explained that ‘generous’ Burton allowed her to keep both properties, adding that she sleeps in one home and their kids stay in another.

She told the Sunday Times magazine in 2019: ‘It’s very sensible – and luckily I’ve kept both houses now. He was very generous.

‘The double house is not really two houses, it’s two small houses that have been put together.

‘I did not have room to house children, put it that way. I lived in a cottage. And I did always think, “God, wouldn’t it be ideal if Mister Right lived next door because then I’d have room to put the bedrooms in?”

‘So what was Tim’s house is basically the family house and I kept my bedroom and my kitchen.

‘But even then it feels like I’m an alien person because I live next door to my children, which is really none of anyone’s… The more mystique the better. It’s a really magical place, everyone gets lost.’
