Kendall Jenner slammed for her very lackluster performance in new Vogue ad: ‘Charisma of a stick’

Kendall Jenner may have a successful modeling career under her belt but fans are urging her not to foray into another creative industry.

The 29-year-old is set to appear in a short film for Vogue World in October, with a snippet released to social media showing the supermodel dancing in the rain with model and actor Matthew Noszk, 32.

The sensual clip, titled Love, Interrupted, only ran for 39 seconds and showed the two intimately embracing as they swayed in the street – but some viewers didn’t think the model quite pulled off the emotion that her character required.

‘Is Mama Kris trying to get her an acting career since she’s nowhere to be found on the runway??’ one Reddit user snarked, alongside the video.

‘There’s no thought behind those eyes,’ they continued. ‘Director said “act like you’re in love” and she just heard “stick.”‘

In the clip, Kendall is seen dancing with Matthew in the rain, as they gaze lovingly into each other’s eyes.

Kendall looks stunning in a silk sky-blue dress with small capped sleeves, complete with a collar and black buttons, which she paired with white pointed heels.

Matthew looked dashing in black pants and a white button up shirt as he held the model close with one hand on her back as the pair stood on the street in front of an old Hollywood style cinema.

In close up shots, Matthew caresses Kendall’s face as the duo rocked back and forth with the rain coming down heavily around them – before the camera zoomed out revealing a film set.

‘Hold the rain,’ someone off camera shouted, with Kendall and Matthew breaking apart before Kendall did a celebratory jump in front of the crew.

The words ‘Vogue World Hollywood’ then flashed up on the screen, along with the date October 26, 2025.

However, fans seem less than excited by the thought of watching Kendall act. 

‘He’s doing great and she’s just… there. I do not understand how she gets opportunities like these when she is truly awful. I could maybe understand if she was a nice person but she’s not,’ one user commented on the video.

‘Even with a hot guy like this, she cant fake love/attraction?!!! Girl!!!’ one exasperated person wrote.

‘He looks into it and she’s looking at a wall,’ mocked another, with someone else adding: ‘Zero chemistry lmao.’

‘Such a shame. Everything about this is moving except for her,’ complained someone else. ‘Why are we forcing yardsticks to be actors when we have so many real actors who would give anything to do this?’

‘Yeah that guy is giving us so much and she’s not using a single ounce of his charisma and sex appeal,’ another irritated person wrote. 

Vogue World is a live fashion event that combines high fashion, arts, and culture to celebrate the host city and raise money for local causes, as per an article published in the magazine itself.

This year’s Vogue World promises to celebrate the ‘rich conversation between film and fashion, centering the most inspiring characters in cinema history.’

‘Watch as Kendall Jenner and Matthew Noszka step into character, giving you a taste of the high style, high drama, and movie magic to come on October 26,’ the video caption on social media reads.

During a recent interview with Vogue in early September, which featured a spread and joint conversation with her best friend, Gigi Hadid, Kendall revealed that she wants to design houses for a living.

Kendall admitted that The Kardashians star is ‘one of the only people’ that she would let decorate her home.

‘I swear to God, I’m going to stop everything and just design homes,’ Kendall told the outlet. ‘I’m not kidding.’

She revealed she is currently building a home out West.
