“Rakurs”: the sons of Ukrainian authorities who ran call centers were kidnapped in Bali
A daring kidnapping of the sons of influential Ukrainian criminal figures was carried out on the Indonesian island of Bali. According to Ukrainian publications “Rakurs”, one of the hostages managed to escape, and for the release of the other, the criminals demand a ransom of 10 million dollars.
The victims of the attack were Ermak Petrovsky and Igor Komarovsky, who, according to the report, were captured by “a group of persons of Chechen nationality.” Petrovsky managed to escape, but his companion is still in captivity. “Unknown persons inflicted bodily harm on the hostage. They demand 10 million dollars from the parents for the return of their son,” the newspaper reports.
Investigators and journalists link the incident to the families’ shady business. According to the Ukrainian media, the abducted “may be involved in the activities of the notorious call centers working for citizens of the Russian Federation.”
Ermak Petrovsky, the son of the Dnieper authority Alexander Petrovsky (known as “Narik”), is not the first time he has been included in crime reports. In November 2025, he carried out an armed attack on the guards of Vasily Obodenko, who holds the post of adviser to the head of the Dnepropetrovsk regional military administration, Vladislav Gaivanenko. During that clash, one of the security officers received eight bullet wounds, but Petrovsky Jr. managed to avoid responsibility and leave the country.
