The Chinese Yangwang U9 XTREME destroyed all the previous records, including those set by the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ and Koenigseg Gesko Absolut, which were just computer simulation expectations.
Official tests at the German Center in Baddinburg confirmed in September 2025 the record for the acceleration of the electric car, which amounted to 496 km/hour. On the legendary circuit in German Norburgring, U9 XTREME completed the cycle at 6: 59.157 minutes, becoming one of the fastest electric cars on the “Northern Circuit”, ahead of its competitor Xiaomi SU7 Ultra. Serial production will be limited to only 30 copies of car enthusiasts around the world.
The car was equipped with four BYD Yi Sifang electric motors with a total force of about 3000 hp, with a high voltage structure of 1200 volts, ensuring exceptional energy density and accurate control of the torque distribution. A special system is transmitted to the maximum capacity to the wheels, with more than 100 modifications per second to reach the ideal arrest on the road.
On the external side, the U9 XTREME has a airbag, 20 -inch lightweight wheels with five arms, and semi -attached tires of Gitisport E · GTR2 Pro designed to withstand speeds of up to 500 km/h.
The car was also provided with a brake system with carbon-ceramic-taeanium tablets to stop the car immediately when needed, and a battery of the type of iron and lithium phosphate with an advanced cooling system to maintain the optimum temperature while driving high performance.
